The "Build Your Own Medical Kit" was made to emulate what we have in our store. Our custom pre-made kits sell great and we think they are complete for most circumstances. We find that many of our customers have specific needs or have some gear but nothing that fits just right. We really like helping with this so please feel free to call or email us. If you have questions or need more direction based on your needs, we would be happy to build one for you.
We believe that when you really need a medical kit it should not be just a band-aid. In our larger packs, we always add those basic first aid kits with items such as the 1.0 or 2.0 kit from Adventure Medical. Trauma is what we think you should be prepared for. Having the gear is only part of it. But, knowing how to use it is the most important part. We have videos about the gear. Below, we highlighted some of the items and gave our insight.
Pick a bag, fill it, we pack it and ship it. Simple.
***Purchase of some medical items requires that the user has supervision from a licensed medical practitioner or are properly trained. Ensuring this supervision is the purchaser's responsibility. Placing items in your cart verifies that you accept these terms.
Choose a bag that works for the way you are going to use or carry it. If you want a fully stocked backpack we also offer a complete S.T.O.M.P or you can purchase a pack that works for you. If you have a specific color in mind, let us know.
The Rip-A-Way is a good size for an individual and to attach to a pack. Having the ability to remove it quickly and lay it out in front of you is important. It has a lot of internal elastic loops, pockets and a fold-out detachable mesh pocket that we use for smaller items.

The Combat Application Tourniquet® (C-A-T®) is one of those "have to" have items in a trauma kit. The C-A-T brand is current issue and simple to use even on yourself. It is a small and lightweight tourniquet that completely occludes arterial blood flow in an extremity. The C-A-T uses a Self-Adhering Band and a Friction Adaptor Buckle to fit a wide range of extremities combined with a one-handed windlass system. We pack 1 in each of our kits but recommend 2. (1 for you 1 for a buddy)
If you are price conscious we also offer a TK4. It works (it may slip) but better than other less expensive tourniquets.
Quick Clot | Combat Gauze
We strongly recommend either of them for any first aid kit no matter what the size. If you you are ever in a situation where bleeding will not stop, it works to clot the blood such as a GSW, stab wound or outdoor puncture accident.
QuikClot® is a commercial used chemically inert material that speeds coagulation of blood resulting in a stable clot. It comes in a non-adherent mesh bag so that it can be applied by anyone and can easily and cleanly be removed from the wound by a professional. This formula is a low heat that will not burn the skin. Leave it in place until more advanced medical help arrives. Each package contains one 3.5" x 3.5" (25g) bag of QuikClot®.
Combat Gauze is the choice and issue for military and used for life-threatening hemorrhage in wounds that are not amenable to a tourniquet. It combines Gauze with quick clot and is an advanced hemostatic agent combined with the simplicity of gauze. It is the first gauze to stop arterial and venous bleeding rapidly. Powerful, yet cool, so it won't burn, Combat Gauze is pliable to pack into even penetrating traumatic wounds. This product is flexible to cover any size or shape. It is so intuitive and greatly improves hemorrhage control in the most demanding tactical setting. X-Ray Strip so it's easily detectable.
Triangular (or cravat) bandages are a must for any kit and have lots of uses from an ace bandage to a sling. We also put this in all of our kits as standard. It is a simple right-angle triangle made from a strong material. They can be used to create various types of slings, to soak up additional blood from a wound or to tie on a splint for greater immobilization.
The Israeli Bandage is our #1 for all kits as a trauma item. Most incidences need pressure to stop bleeding. It is an important tool for the staunching of blood flow from traumatic hemorrhage wounds in pre-hospital emergency situations. The Israeli bandage is basically a ACE bandage with a very absorbent pad and a pressure device. It is the first go to item for more injuries after gauze and you can use it on yourself. See our video on how to use them. They can also be used as a tourniquet if you have to or anything you would use a bandage for. Simple to use and effective. They come in a serial package, packs small and available in 4” and 6”. This 4" wide, all-in-one device consolidates multiple first-aid devices such as a primary dressing, pressure applicator, secondary dressing, and a foolproof closure apparatus to secure the bandage in place.
